Some foxes can hear noises from up to 40 yards (36.5 m) away.

Even if you come across a wild fox, they won’t eat you. Because they have an omnivorous diet that mainly includes rodents, small mammals, plants and birds.
Female foxes are only pregnant for 53 days. This will be a big shock to animals with long gestation periods.
Foxes can survive in the wild for about 2 to 3 years. But they can live up to 10 years in captivity.
Foxes also become prey for some larger animals such as eagles, coyotes, gray wolves, bears and mountain lions.
Because of their excellent fur, Arctic foxes (Snow Foxes) can withstand temperatures as low as – 70 degrees Celsius.
Most foxes are about the size of medium-sized dogs. The largest foxes weigh about 24 pounds (11 kg) and are 34 inches (86 cm) long but have no tail.
