As revealed by Pagani, in the name of Huayra BC, the word BC is the abbreviation of businessman Benny Caiola, a close friend of Horacio Pagani (founder of Pagani car company) and also the company’s first customer. As a limited edition, only a total of 20 pieces will be produced.
Although based on the typical design features of the Huayra line, the Huayra BC has also had major changes. Except for the hood and gullwing doors, the remaining parts of the car’s body have been changed. Specifically, the front spoiler is expanded, the car’s side is customized, and the new diffuser works more effectively.
The wheels (20 inch front wheel, 21 inch rear wheel) used on the Huayra BC are 7 double-spoke made from aluminum alloy, covered with Pirelli Pzero Corsa tires. Along with that is the new Brembo brake system that is up to 6% lighter.
The body and shell of the Pagani Huayra BC are made from composite materials that are 20% stronger and 50% lighter than carbon fiber. The weight of Huayra BC is 1,218 kg
The car’s interior has not changed much compared to the Huayra, but there are many interior details made from aluminum, carbon fiber and high-quality Alcantara leather in Pangani’s signature style.
Huayra BC uses a 6-liter Twin-turbo V12 engine developed by Mercedes-AMG, producing a maximum capacity of 789 horsepower and maximum torque of 1,100 Nm. This engine block comes with a completely new 7-speed gearbox from used is super light carbon. Besides, this supercar has a titanium exhaust system that weighs only 2.9 kg, 7.1 kg lighter than the previous version.
The manufacturer said that Huayra BC is capable of accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 2.8 seconds. Maximum speed reaches 354 km/h. This supercar costs 2.5 million USD (equivalent to 55,625 billion VND).
