Christian McCaffrey and Olivia Culpo’s wedding is right around the corner.
The 49ers running back and the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model, who are believed to be getting married this week in her native Rhode Island, were all smiles while getting their marriage license, as seen in photos McCaffrey shared on Instagram.
The reigning NFL Offensive Player of the Year — who agreed to a two-year contract extension with the Niners worth $38 million earlier this month — added a white heart emoji in his caption.

The couple’s friends shared celebratory messages in the comments, including Kristin Juszczyk, the wife of 49ers Pro Bowl fullback Kyle Juszczyk.
“The moment we’ve all been waiting for! Let the royal wedding begin!!” the designer, who landed an apparel licensing deal with the NFL earlier this year, wrote.
The couples, who are close friends, enjoyed a group vacation together in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, along with 49ers tight end George Kittle and his wife Claire, after San Francisco’s overtime loss to the Chiefs in February’s Super Bowl.
Taking to her Instagram Culpo re-shared McCaffrey’s post, adding the caption, “Marriage license” with a check mark.
6 McCaffrey proposed to Culpo with a stunning oval-cut engagement ring with side stones designed by New York-based jeweler Ring Concierge during a getaway in Utah last April.
The 32-year-old Culpo commemorated the start of their wedding festivities on Tuesday with photos on Instagram, which featured the couple posting in front of a sign that said: “Mr. & Mrs.”
Other photos featured them aboard a private jet and Culpo holding a food menu with the title: “Olivia & Christian Wedding Flight.”

Culpo enjoyed a beautiful bridal shower in Malibu last month with her friends and family, including her sisters, Aurora and Sophia, and McCaffrey’s mother, Lisa.
The former Miss Universe 2012 celebrated her bachelorette party in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico last November.
McCaffrey and Culpo have been dating since 2019.
