Cats are natural models, making it difficult to take a bad photo of them. They have a knack for keeping their eyes open and sitting still, resulting in stunning images. While scrolling through Instagram, I stumbled upon Cara and Yuna’s mesmerizing photographs. The combination of their beauty and their owner’s skilled photography made their pictures stand out. Their mom agreed to discuss her work and her adorable pair with me, and their photos truly bring their personalities to life. Keep reading for more on these feline models.
How did you come up with the names of your feline friends? It’s an interesting question that I’ve pondered quite a bit. My first cat was named Fortuna by the breeder, which means “gift from heaven.” Although I liked the meaning, I didn’t quite fancy the name. After some googling, I stumbled upon “Cara,” which means “valuable” and seemed fitting for my beloved happy-maker. Yuna, on the other hand, was a kitten when I got her, so she didn’t have a name yet. Her playful and adorable personality influenced me to choose the name Yuna, which means “the young, blooming one” and “the friendly one.” Both names reflect the cats’ personalities perfectly.
How do they get along with each other?
Their relationship is a bit of a mixed bag. Some days, Cara and Yuna can’t seem to stand each other’s company. They prefer to hide in separate rooms and growl at each other while passing by. Other days, they snuggle up together on the sofa and groom each other. Their moods also depend on their hunger levels, which I think influences their behavior towards each other.
How would you describe their personalities?
Cara tends to be a laid-back feline. She is initially shy around strangers and will retreat to another room. However, once she develops trust, she is incredibly affectionate, enjoys being cuddled, and has a calm demeanor. Even when given treats, Cara remains gentle and balanced, never exhibiting aggression.
Yuna, on the other hand, has a dynamic personality. She is playful, mischievous, and enjoys running around the apartment. Although she can sometimes be easily spooked, she is also very affectionate, attentive, and purrs loudly. In many ways, she seems to embody all of the typical feline characteristics. For example, Yuna once caught a bat on the balcony, then immediately came to cuddle with us.
