At the end of 2022, Italian design firm Bertone announced GB110 – A supercar model running on synthetic fuel created from plastic waste. The brand revealed that this model will be able to reach a capacity in excess of 1,100 horsepower and this car was recently launched live in Monaco.
In fact, GB110 uses a 5.2-liter twin-turbo V10 engine, generating 1,124 horsepower and maximum torque of 1,100 Nm. Power is transmitted to all four wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The car is equipped with a high-performance carbon ceramic brake system and sports wheels measuring 21 inches at the front and 22 inches at the rear, giving the car an impressive appearance.
Bertone did not mention the base model of the GB110, however it is very likely that this car was developed based on the Lamborghini Huracan. At first glance on the exterior, these two models have many similarities with each other. With this equipment, GB110 is capable of reaching a maximum speed of up to 350 km/h. According to Bertone, this car can achieve extremely good acceleration thanks to its overall weight of only 1422 kg.
The car’s exterior is impressively designed with nostalgic lines. The brand drew inspiration from the brand’s long history with Bertone’s designed models such as the Lancia Stratos Zero, Lamborghini Countach and the timeless legendary Miura. Regarding the interior, Bertone offers customers unlimited personalization to create an interior compartment according to the customer’s wishes. As expected, Bertone will only produce 33 cars and the selling price has not yet been disclosed by the brand.
